The Neighbourhood Community Centre Hall

The Neighbourhood Community Centre is located at 4 Sirius Road, Bligh Park, adjacent to the Bligh Park Shopping centre. The original building and head office for Bligh Park Community Services was built by the Hawkesbury City Council and opened in 1987.  The centre includes a children’s fenced play area.  An additional fenced public play area is located behind the car park.

The Building

The high roof is set with windows that provide excellent lighting and fans provide cooling.  Heaters warm the centre in the winter months.

Double doors lead onto a small, safe children’s play area that includes shade.  The gallery style kitchen has adequate bench space and one hutch facing the main hall which is divided by concertina doors.

Amenities include ladies, men’s and disabled toilets and a nappy changing area.  The flooring is polished vinyl whilst the foyer is carpeted.

nh_kitchen01The Hall can cater for seating for up to 50 people.  It has a room divider to split the area if required.

The lounge area can accommodate up to 12 people.  Situated next to the office it is available to hire by itself.

The Neighbourhood Centre is equipped with a fully functional kitchen including; electric stove, microwave and refrigerator.

The car park provides parking for over 40 vehicles.  On street parking is provided at the front of the centre.
